This job was at a house in Parafield Gardens where the homeowner wanted a couple of bunker lights installed outside along with a new external power point.

The tricky part of this job was there was no way to access the cable run from inside the roof space because the lights were being installed on an external wall. Luckily the home had a tiled roof, which allowed me to lift tiles and access the roof cavity from above.

From there, I was able to run the new cables through the wall cavity and get them to the required locations. I also managed to get an additional cable down to the existing switch so the homeowner could control the new lights from inside the house.

Once everything was finished, the homeowner had new outdoor lighting and a weatherproof power point exactly where they needed them, without any visible conduit or unnecessary damage to the walls.
