Is it worth replacing old halogen downlights with LED?

Yes. Modern LED downlights use considerably less power than old halogens, produce less heat and generally give you better control over the colour and brightness of the room. If you've still got halogens throughout the house, a lighting upgrade can make a noticeable difference.

Can you add new lights to an established home?

Yes. The tricky part can be getting cables where they need to go without unnecessary holes or visible conduit. I'll utilise the roof and wall cavities wherever possible and work with the existing structure to keep the finished installation nice and neat.

Can you install a ceiling fan where there's currently just a light?

Yes. Sometimes I can utilise the existing wiring, while other installations need additional cabling or support for the fan. It depends on what's already there and how accessible the ceiling space is.

Can you help me work out where outdoor lighting should go?

Absolutely. Good outdoor lighting isn't about putting the brightest floodlight you can find on the wall. I can help with practical lighting for paths and entertaining areas, feature and garden lighting, or sensor lighting where you want a bit more security.
