This job was at a chemist in Brahma Lodge where the owner wanted additional power points installed for their point of sale equipment.

The existing setup had multiple registers running from the same circuit, so I installed three new power points and split the equipment across separate circuits. This means if one circuit trips, the entire checkout system won't go down.

To avoid disrupting the business, all work was completed outside of trading hours.

While on site, I also investigated an ongoing fault that was causing circuits to trip during wet weather. This led to a missing brick vent above the switchboard that was allowing water ingress. I also corrected some non compliant wiring and upgraded the existing recalled protection devices to RCBOs.
