This job was at a home in Blair Athol where the homeowner wanted a couple of extra power points added in the kitchen and laundry.

The tricky part was getting the new cabling into position without cutting unnecessary holes through the walls. I was able to use an existing cable as a draw wire and work through the roof space, drilling through top plates and noggins to get the cables exactly where they needed to go.

By taking the time to plan the cable route properly, I was able to install the new outlets with minimal disruption and no unnecessary damage to the plaster.

The end result was a clean installation that gave the homeowner the extra power points they needed without relying on extension leads or power boards.
