This job was at a house in Para Hills where the homeowner wanted RGB LED strip lighting installed as feature lighting.

After everything was installed, I noticed some of the colours weren't displaying properly. A bit of testing quickly showed the issue wasn't with the wiring but with the LED strip itself. The red channel wasn't receiving power, which was causing the colours to appear discoloured.

Rather than leave the homeowner with a faulty installation, I tracked down the damaged section of strip and used some offcuts to repair it. Once the new sections were soldered in and resealed with silicone, everything was back up and running properly before I left.

The end result was fully functioning RGB lighting with complete colour control.
