This job in Surrey Downs started off pretty small with a powerpoint replacement and a new batten holder.

Just as I was getting ready to leave, the customer asked if I could also get the front lights working automatically when someone drives in or walks up to the house.

I installed a new sensor and relocated some of the existing cabling to get everything positioned where it needed to be. It was pouring with rain by this point, so the umbrella came out on the ladder and I got it sorted.

‍

Now the front lights come on automatically when someone approaches the house, which is great for arriving home at night and adds a bit of extra security around the front of the property.

A small addition, but a really useful one.
