This job was for an existing client in Upper Hermitage whose switchboard still had older Type AC safety switches, with some circuits not protected at all.

I upgraded the switchboard so every circuit is now protected by its own RCBO. That means if a fault occurs, only the affected circuit trips instead of taking out multiple areas of the house.

The upgrade improved the overall safety of the installation, made fault finding easier and brought the switchboard up to a much higher standard than the original setup.

Goldie was also on site supervising the works and took her role as apprentice very seriously.
