Why choose an EVNEX charger?

EVNEX chargers are designed for Australian and New Zealand homes and offer a great balance of smart features, reliability and ease of use. Whether you're charging overnight, making the most of excess solar or looking for dynamic load balancing, there's an EVNEX model to suit.

The current E2 range includes the E2 Flex, E2 Core and E2 Plus, each offering different features depending on how you plan to charge your vehicle. I'll help you choose the right model based on your home, your electrical system and the way you use your EV.

An EVNEX charger could be right for you if you...

  • Want a premium home EV charging solution
  • Have solar or plan to install solar
  • Want app control and scheduled charging
  • Need dynamic load balancing
  • Want reliable software and ongoing updates
  • Like the confidence of having a Certified EVNEX Installer

What's involved in installing an EVNEX charger?

Every installation starts by assessing your switchboard, available electrical capacity and the best cable route for your home.

Where required, I'll install CT clamps inside your switchboard so supported EVNEX chargers can monitor your home's electrical demand for dynamic load balancing and solar charging.

Once everything is installed, I'll configure the EVNEX app, connect the charger to your home network, test all of the smart features and make sure everything is working as intended. Once the job is complete, you'll receive a Certificate of Compliance.

EVNEX chargers in established homes

Many established homes across Adelaide's North East require a little more planning when installing an EV charger. Older switchboards, brick walls and limited roof access can all influence the installation.

I specialise in established homes, so I always look for the neatest cable route possible while keeping visible conduit to a minimum wherever practical. The result is a clean, compliant installation that looks like it belongs there.

Why choose a Certified EVNEX Installer?

Choosing the right charger is only part of the process. Having it installed and configured correctly is just as important.

As a Certified EVNEX Installer, I'm familiar with the EVNEX product range and can help you choose the right model, configure the smart features and make sure everything is working as intended from day one.

Whether you're considering the E2 Flex, E2 Core or E2 Plus, I'll recommend the charger that best suits your home and how you plan to charge your vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which EVNEX charger is right for me?

That depends on your home and how you plan to charge. The E2 Flex is a great option for homeowners who want smart charging now with the ability to add solar later. The E2 Core suits homes with solar, while the E2 Plus adds 4G connectivity and a longer 8 metre charging cable. I'll help you choose the right model for your needs.

Can EVNEX chargers work with solar?

Yes. Compatible EVNEX chargers can prioritise excess solar generation, helping you use more of the electricity you're producing instead of exporting it back to the grid.

Does EVNEX support dynamic load balancing?

Yes. Supported EVNEX chargers can use CT clamps to monitor your home's electrical demand and automatically adjust charging speed when required.

What does it mean to be a Certified EVNEX Installer?

It means I've completed EVNEX's installer training and understand their products, installation requirements and commissioning process. That gives you confidence your charger is installed and configured the way it was designed to be.

Can you help me choose between the E2 Flex, Core and Plus?

Absolutely. Rather than recommending the most expensive charger, I'll explain the differences and help you choose the model that best suits your home, your budget and the way you charge your vehicle.

Do I receive compliance paperwork?

Yes. Every installation is completed in accordance with Australian Standards, and I provide a Certificate of Compliance. Where SAPN notifications or approvals are required, I'll take care of those as well.
